Yves Duteil is a French singer, songwriter, and politician, born on July 24, 1949, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. Duteil began his musical career in the early 1970s. He released his first album, L'écritoire, in 1974, featuring his beautiful debut single, Virages His real breakthrough came in 1977 with the album La La Tarentelle, which includes the famous song Prendre un enfant. This song was voted the best chanson of the twentieth century by the French.
Yves Duteil is known for his poetic lyrics and soft, melodious style, having released more than 20 albums.
